Sunday Morning

So it’s christmas… some time off is lovely, if not brief… being my final year at uni, it isn’t without it’s excessive workloads, not that I’m complaining, I actually secretly enjoy the stress. Over christmas I have alot to do, won’t go into details, but alot of fitting and tailoring in peices. Really getting excited about this collection, I love it when you create somthing you can really sink your teeth into creatively. In the new year I will be creating the final garments, which is so exciting, I am really getting passionate about this collection, the concept is really somthing close to me, I can’t wait to do the photoshoot/ fashion film side of things, have somthing in mind that I want to create, think Kill Bill meets Little Shop Of Horrors… and on that note I’ll leave you with a little taster of the next collection… called “Sunday Morning”.

Flowers, Glass, Pearls and a whole lot of coffee…

Here is a little taste of what I am working on at the moment, very excited about finaly doing beadwork! Here I have used a mix of Swarovski glass beads, faux pearls and embroidered flower motifs, which I intend to make my own… exciting times!

The creation of mashed ideals…

Been a while since I have posted… been a crazy few weeks, university work is really gaining momentum, new collection is officialy in production, which is exciting… Really hope I can recreate my sketches in 3D, I think quite a common designer worry. I have as always gave myself alot of work, I have lots of admitidly different refrences, exploring alot of areas I have never tried, all I will say is I spent all day Monday dying fabric, take from that what you will… creating my own fashion book, many shoots and editorials to do for that! So for now I will leave you with a preview of the accessories I have been working on for the collection, at the concept stage at the moment… Hope you all like, hope your all well.
